BTW I take exception to bad artists being popular only lately.

Anybody remember The Archies? How about Ohio Express? Not a lot of today's music is worse than "Yummy Yummy Yummy".

C'mon OG I'm not talking about that crap ! The Archies ? I just don't like most of the new music today,it all sounds the same IMHO.I'm talking about vintage Bands like, PINK FLOYD,Jimi Hendrix,The Doors,The Who,Santana,Deep Purple,Iron Butterfly,The Grateful Dead,The Rolling Stones,ZZ Top,Emerson Lake & Palmer,Lynryd Skynryd,Eric Clapton,The Moody Blues,Bad Company,Genesis,Steely Dan,Journey,and especially Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. Just a small example of the Vintage Music I think sounds great on my Altecs. IMHO

You can pick music today like the Archies there is plenty to go around in any era..

BTW: You left out Sugar,Sugar one of my all time favorite Archie tunes ...

Most artists today wish they were half as good .
